1. Nag Tibba Trek
Duration: 2 Days
Difficulty level: Easy- Moderate
Region: Mussoorie
Best time to do the Nag Tibba trek: Throughout the year
Temperatures: Summer day time: 16-18 degrees, Nightime: 10-12 degrees. Winter daytime: 12-14 degrees, Night: 2-4 degrees

The Nag Tibba Trek is a thrilling weekend camp trek out of Mussoorie. If you live in Delhi, this must be on top of you 2020 trek list. The trek begins from Pantwari and climb to the Nag Tibba summit. You get to see stunning sights of Mt Bandarpoonch, Srikanth and Gangotri right in front of you. Further, this trek offers some unforgettable sunrise and sunset views, and a beautiful forest section to trek in.

2. Sainj Valley Trek

The Sainj Valley Trek is a beautiful weekend trek in Himachal Pradesh. It’s a good trek to do if you live in Delhi. It is one of the few treks inside of the Great Himalayan National Park. During winter, you get to trek in snow and the temperatures in the night go down to about -6 degrees.
The grasslands you see on this trek will remind you of those on the Kashmir Trek. You get some remarkable views of the entire valley on this trek. The trail takes you through dense forests, ringing with different bird cries. When the trail finally opens out of the forest, you get some truly stunning views of the Sainj valley and the mighty peaks surrounding the Raktisar glacier. The trail also takes you through ancient villages, apple orchards, and then finally, the Pundrik lake which is shrouded in local mythos.
3. Deoban Weekend Trek
Duration: 2 Days
Difficulty level: Easy- Moderate
Region: Uttarakhand
Best time to do the Deoban Weekend Trek: December to May
Temperatures: Summer Daytime:16 to 20 degrees, Night time 8 to 12 degrees
Winter – Daytime: 4-6 degrees degrees, Night: 0 to -2
Altitude: 9,279 ft
The base camp for the Deoban weekend trek is Chakrata. Chakrata is less than 330 km from Delhi. It is just a night train away. The trek is 15 km long. It is a wonderful weekend trek to do in October, November, and December as well. Post December there is too much snow on the trails. Post winter, we run the trek in March and April.

4. Sandakphu Phalut Trek
Duration: 7 Days

Altitude: 11,950 ft
The Sandakphu trek is one of the few treks from where you can see 4 out of 5 of the tallest mountains in the world — Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Makalu and Mt Kanchenjunga. Amongst all Himalayan treks, this view is what the Sandakphu treks stands out for. This view is popularly known as the Sleeping Buddha — an image that will stay in your mind for years to come.
A unique feature of this trek are the tea-houses you will find. They are similar to hotels and restaurants, but are indescribably different. You will have to stay in one, to experience the warmth of a tea house.
5. Mukta Top Trek

Temperatures: Summer Daytime – 14-16 degrees, Nighttime – 4-6 degrees

The Mukta Top trek is a fairly newer Himalayan Trek. It is located about 430 km from Delhi. During winter, that is December through mid-March temperature can go down to -5. During summer, that is from March to June the temperature are around 12-13 degrees during the day, and negative temperatures at night. The entire trek distance is 28 km.
This trek has enchanting forests, amazing mountain views, a thrilling summit climb. Another bonus on this trek is that they are often isolated
6. Brahmatal Trek
Duration:6 Days
Difficulty level: Moderate
Region: Uttarakhand
Best time to do the Brahmatal Trek: September to April
Temperatures: Summer daytime 14-18 degrees, night time 6-8 degrees
Winter daytime – 6-8 degrees, Nighttime -4 to -8
Altitude: 12,250 ft
Like several other treks, the Brahmatal Trek too was explored and documented by Indiahikes. The highest point on this trek is Brahmatal Top at 12,250ft. It is a stunning trek. A new set of mountains open themselves up before you – Mt Chaukhamba, Mt Neelkanth, Mt Hathi Ghoda, and Mt Trishul and Nanda Ghunti are by your side throughout the trek.
Brahmatal is a great trek to do solo as well. In December, January, and February, there is a lot of snow on the trail. The treks runs until the beginning of March.
7. Kedarkantha Trek
